Population Health or Public Health

Education

Machine-learning and artificial intelligence-driven algorithms guide successfully targeted and tailored educational and motivational reminder text messages in two distinct patient populations: high-risk Medicaid children with asthma, and Medicaid pregnant women at high-risk for preterm delivery. Across both cohorts, 1500 patients have been enrolled over 2 years.
Instead of pursuing traditional top-down attempts to change at-risk, mother behaviors, Ohio pursued a social determinates of health (SDOH) approach.
Health system leaders from 3 countries will reflect on their unique perspectives and experiences in advancing digital health ecosystems to transform the delivery of health services that focus on the health and wellness of citizens, consumers and populations.
