This session presents an overview on developing and implementing an NI fellowship to provide staff nurses with an opportunity to discover the world of NI through classes, practical experience and mentoring by a nurse informaticist.
This session will focus on how to find talent and keep it in healthcare technology. The speakers will cover several different roles in healthcare technology, including support, implementation, development, and management.
A multipronged, international and interprofessional effort is needed to bridge this gap from the education pipeline to the bedside. This crucial conversation will begin to address options for building that bridge.
