Willie Johnson “Will” is a Strategic Management and Operational Effectiveness expert. He loves consulting organizations on methods to become highly effective through his consulting company Pathways Consulting. He has led several organizations through major transformation initiatives to increase performance, reduce costs, and/or increase market share and profit. Some of his notable accomplishments have been leading Capital One Finance to become a full-service bank which expanded increased their market share by over 200% within the first year; led the American HealthTech in their re-architecture and product position within the post-acute market, and the revision of the Information Technology governance processes for Texas Health Resources which enabled ITS drive the portfolio of projects that realize greatest value for the company. Mr. Johnson is also an experienced trainer, facilitator and public speaker. Through his project management training, he has been able to see 100% of his students obtain their PMP and advance their career.

Mr. Johnson has a MBA in Strategic Management and Marketing from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is also a HIMSS Fellow.  He holds the following certifications:  Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and ITIL Strategy.

In Mr. Johnson’s spare time, he is the head coach of Bombers Baseball, participates in many community service activities, serves as the Vice President of Professional Development for the National Chapter of the Year, DFW Chapter, and spends significant time advising and working with several organizations, groups, and key strategic initiatives at his alma mater Texas A&M University. Mr. Johnson loves to spend time with his beautiful wife and son. When he does have 4 hours of downtime, you will often find him looking for new golf courses to play.  Mr. Johnson is really excited about his upcoming book project which he plans to release in the Fall of 2020.
