MHA Candidate, Sloan Program in Health Administration
Vishruti Vaikundan is pursuing her second year in the Sloan MHA program at Cornell University. She has an engineering background and received her Bachelors of Technology in Biotechnology in India. She has spent her entire professional career in the healthcare industry. Prior to graduating, she worked on her final year thesis at the Laboratory of Nanomedicine, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology, on cancer immunotherapy. After graduating in 2015, she worked as Management Assistant for Marketing and Strategy at Bio Vedas Consultancy in India for a year. At Bio Vedas, she was involved in marketing and planning of B2B medical exhibitions and guided American healthcare companies create new partnerships with Indian counterparts. She interned at Forensic Risk Alliance this past summer in the Life Sciences Compliance and Forensic Accounting departments. She was involved in market research for expanding the Life Sciences department’s service offerings; process mapping and investigating financial statements. While at Cornell, she works for McGovern Center of Venture Development in Life Sciences and is the Vice President of Marketing for the Women in Healthcare Leadership organization. She is also a Lean Six Sigma consultant for Cornell Health.
