Veeneta Lakhani is Vice President of Provider Enablement for Anthem. Veeneta is accountable for delivering and deploying solutions to the marketplace that enable provider success in value based care. Veeneta’s scope of responsibility is nationwide, supporting Anthem’s value based care and provider collaboration strategy. Veeneta’s work on enablement is focused on an evolving landscape of collaborative provider solutions that drive improved outcomes in quality, cost, revenue, and patient and physician experience.
Prior to her current role, Veeneta has served in multiple enterprise-level leadership roles across Anthem’s operations and technology departments. Veeneta oversaw Anthem’s provider operations, enterprise investment planning teams, and service operations quality improvement. Veeneta has been with Anthem since 2009.
Prior to Anthem, Veeneta was a Partner with Mckinsey & Company’s Insurance practice. During her time at Mckinsey, she served multiple Fortune 100 clients on large scale strategy and performance improvement programs. She spearheaded industry research on operational excellence in insurance including topics such as lean manufacturing, process improvement, IT strategy, and sourcing.
Veeneta has an MBA from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science from Boston University.
