Todd Rothenhaus is the CEO of Cohealo, Inc. a technology-enabled services company that increases the utilization of health-system capital equipment, reducing rental costs and capital expense. Prior to Cohealo, he was SVP and Chief Medical Officer at athenahealth, where he served in several leadership roles, launching athenahealth’s Network Knowledge division, and leading the corporate integration of Healthcare Data Services to establish athenahealth’s Population Health Management service, delivering 100% growth in the first two years. As GM of the athenaClinicals he was responsible for product strategy and operations of the company's second largest ($300M+) service. Prior to joining athenahealth, he was CIO of Steward Health Care (formerly Caritas Christi) the largest community-based health system in New England, where he developed and executed a three-year, capital plan to deploy inpatient EHR to six hospitals, and ambulatory EHR systems to 500+ employed and affiliated physicians in over 50 communities, positioning the system for accountable care. Prior to Steward, he was an attending physician in Boston’s busiest emergency department, and Assistant Professor at Boston University School of Medicine. He received his M.D. from the George Washington University and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane.
