Advocate Aurora Health (previously Advocate Health Care) Vice President, Information and Technology Innovation (2017 – present) Executive oversight and governance for the integration and utilization of clinical, administrative, and third- party data in support of clinical health system, population health, and Accountable Care initiatives. Serve as the Advocate executive leader over the Advocate Cerner Collaborative, a major strategic partnership to support both Advocate and the healthcare industry’s transition to population health and accountable care. Strategic oversight of mHealth technology deployment as part of Advocate’s larger digital strategy. System deployment of numerous software solutions that have improved efficiency and outcomes. This includes development and deployment of falls and sepsis reduction software that Board member of Advocate Condell Physician Partners (PHO) and Advocate Hospice. Select Accomplishments: Creation of a ‘big data’ technical and analytical platform interfacing over 50 data sources to date; including data feeds from numerous EMR vendor systems, insurance claim files, and pharmacy benefit files that span the care continuum. Escalation in analytic capability at Advocate Health Care to support accountable care and population health. Projects include the creation and implementation of a readmission prediction model that performs 20% better than industry average and now commercialized, a transition of care model predicting most appropriate post-acute transition venue, and continued development of next generation risk stratification models to support appropriate care interventions for patient populations. Creation of a patient/consumer focused mHealth strategy; positioning Advocate as an industry leader in digital healthcare enablement. System deployment of software solutions that have yielded national top decile outcomes and multi-million dollar cost savings due to early identification and targeted interventions.
