Tara Broxton Cramer has been the Executive Director of the Georgia Regional Academic Community Health Information Exchange (GRAChIE) since November 2011. She was previously Executive Director of the East Georgia Health Cooperative, a rural health network. Cramer sits on the User Group Committee of the Georgia Health Information Network, is a member of the HIMSS HIE inPractice Task Force and is an on the Advisory Board for Georgia Southern University’s Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health. She is a former Secretary of the Board for the National Cooperative of Health Networks and co-chaired its 2011 annual conference. She received the organization’s New and Emerging Leader Award in 2009 and was named a 2015 Health IT Change Agent by Health IT Outcomes. Tara is a recognized industry expert who has presented at numerous conferences, including The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), Cerner Health Conferences, Health Datapalooza, The North Carolina Healthcare Information & Communications Alliance (NCHICA) and The Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaborative (SHIEC). Tara is married to Jeffrey Cramer. They have two children, Tres (4) and Ella (3) and enjoy life on their farm raising cows, chickens and vegetables.
