John S. Dunn, Sr. Presidential Distinguished Chair in Biomedical Engineering, Department of Systems Medicine & Bioengineering
Dr. Stephen Wong holds John Dunn Presidential Distinguished Chair and serves as Chief Research Information Officer, Chief of Medical Physics and Chair of Systems Medicine and Bioengineering at Houston Methodist. He is a Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine and an industrial veteran. His career’s highlights include the development of the first hospital-wide picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) in the US academic medical centers while at UCSF and the world’s largest web brokerage trading system at Charles Schwab, and created integrated products department for Philips Healthcare as well as the functional and molecular imaging center with cyclotron at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Partners HealthCare. He received senior executive education from Stanford, Columbia, and MIT and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Lehigh. He is a registered Professional Engineer.
