An Account Supervisor with Chicago’s Crisis & Risk Management practice, Jared provides counsel to a variety of clients in the retail, technology, education, sports, consumer products, food, pharmaceutical and automotive industries. His recent client work has involved crisis preparedness and rapid response counsel for Fortune 500 companies in various industries, higher education institutions and non-profit organizations. He also helps lead Edelman’s Crisis Simulation offering, having developed and facilitated simulation exercises for more than 50 clients. Working for a number of Edelman’s largest clients, Jared has helped guide the response to data breaches, executive transitions, sexual assault and harassment allegations, diversity and inclusion issues, federal lawsuits and investigations, supply chain issues, employee/executive misconduct, product recalls and other high-impact, reputation-threatening events. As a leading member of the Data Security & Privacy Group, Jared has helped a number of clients, including large companies in the retail, technology and financial industries, respond to data breaches and other information security incidents. He has also led data security preparedness initiatives for clients in various industries, driving the production of breach-focused scenario plans, crisis simulations and risk audits. Jared graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a dual degree in journalism and political science.
