Seong K. Mun, PhD is founding President and CEO of Open Source Electronic Health Record Agent (OSEHRA), established in 2011 by the US government. It is a not-for-profit organization promoting open source innovation in health IT for both the government and private sector. OSEHRA’s priority includes, OSEHRA VistA product management, interoperability and population health analytics. He is also a professor and director of Arlington Innovation Center of Virginia Tech engaged in imaging research and development of smart phones for the medics and first responders. During the 80’s and 90’s Dr. Mun at Georgetown University he championed the development of filmless radiology (a.k.a. PACS), telemedicine, health informatics and global disease surveillance. As an Associate Vice President at Georgetown Medical Center, he managed congressional relations.
