Robert Gluck is a Human Factors Engineer with ArcSource Group, Inc., where he works on a Veterans Health Administration task order contract to assist Human Factors Engineering in the Office of Informatics and Information Governance (OIIG). Much of Robert's work has focused on helping with the redesign of My HealtheVet (MHV), the web health portal used by Veterans to manage their healthcare. His talk today will go into detail about the iterative usability testing he did for MHV. Previously, Robert was the Associate Director, Digital Content at the American Diabetes Association for 7 years. He was the project manager for two major redesigns of the Association’s flagship website, diabetes.org, the leading consumer website for diabetes information. The 2014 redesign introduced a responsive design, added new landing pages for recipes, introduced subject-based, auto-generated links to the Association’s magazine website, and enabled mirrored Spanish content.
