Ms. Rookwood is a clinician and innovative leader with over 15 years of experience engaged in empowering the use of health information technology. She has a passion for informatics that led her to developing a special interest in electronic clinical quality measures. Ms. Rookwood is the MITRE project leader responsible for the execution of the “Health Resources & Services Administration eCQM Development” project, focused on testing electronic clinical quality measures. She is also the Clinical Informatics Group Leader in MITRE's Health Technology Center, responsible for leading, managing, and growing leaders supporting the CMS Alliance to Modernize Healthcare, or CAMH, the first federally funded research and development center dedicated to strengthening our nation’s healthcare system operated by The MITRE Corporation. Ms. Rookwood holds a M.S. in Health Systems Management, from George Mason University and a B.S. in Nursing from James Madison University.
