At the time of this speaker submission, Dr. Peter Schoch was the Regional Vice President of Value Based Care and Payment –St. Louis with SSM Health -- he has since moved on to Adventist Health System as the Senior Vice President of Population Health in their largest central Florida location and the President of the Florida Hospital Physician Network.
A St. Louis native, Dr. Schoch attended medical school at the University of Missouri – Columbia. He spent the first 20 years of his career practicing as a board-certified internist before stepping into his current role. He has served in various capacities as a physician leader, including Chief Medical Officer at SSM Health, as both a physician owned/operated group and as part of a large hospital based system. While at SSM Health, Dr. Schoch provided leadership in transforming SSM Health – St. Louis into a population health management company. He directs EHR optimization, transformation of critical processes and clinical workflow, developing an integrated delivery network focusing on quality, safety and patient centeredness achieving a new care delivery model (PCMH, ACO, CIO) that embodies the triple aim. In his current role, Dr. Schoch continues his leadership in population health initiatives and transformation of the care delivery model with Adventist Health System.
