Demonstrated track record in healthcare finance, COO of one of America’s Historic Hospital, focused revenue cycle strategy, Payer Contract Management and Negotiation, Population Health Management, Care delivery process redesign, project management, and coordinating system integration and implementation. Prior to joining HCMC in March 2016, Nio used her experience revenue cycle management, provider service integration, payer contract negotiation and consulting in the development and opening of Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital in Los Angeles, California focused on providing total wellbeing centered care to the 1.35million residents of south LA by delivering a state of the art closed loop care model. Currently, at HCMC Nio is responsible for Patient Access Services, Registration, Insurance Verification, and Financial Clearance, HIM, Coding, Document Integrity, CDI, Professional, Hospital, Clinic (Provider Based and Freestanding), Home Health, Hospice billing and collections.
