Mike Anderes, PT, MBA, FACHE, is the Chief Innovation and Digital Health Officer for Froedtert Health and President of Inception Health, a company formed by the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network to accelerate the adoption of digital health, identify and partner with innovative companies and increase the innovation capacity of the network. Mike is passionate about the potential to improve people’s health status in ways we were never able to imagine 10 years ago. He is especially interested in the evolving field of technology and applications that empower individuals to manage their medical conditions 24/7. Before moving to innovation and digital health, Mike was responsible for leading the strategy and performance of the orthopaedic, neuroscience and spine service lines across the health system that includes: an academic medical center, medical college practice, community hospital division and an employed community physician practice. Prior to coming to Froedtert Health, Mike was the director of strategy at Poudre Valley Health System, a Malcolm Baldrige award-winning organization in northern Colorado. He spent the preceding 13 years with Carondelet Health Network in Tucson, AZ, as a physical therapist, department leader, orthopaedic and neuroscience service line leader and director of health system strategy. During his tenure, he was recognized for starting the first full-time physical therapy program in an emergency room in the country. Mike is a fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives. He received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut and master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona. Mike is also a board member of AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin.
