Marilyn Campbell manages the analytics unit within the Clinical Quality and Effectiveness Unit (CQE) at NYU Langone Health, which has responsibility for clinical quality metrics and data quality for public and internal reporting. She reports to the Chief Quality Officer. In her role, Marilyn has directed reporting and data validation for CMS/Joint Commission nationally reportable abstracted measures, and has been the business lead and subject matter expert for of NYULH’s QRDA-1 hospital electronic clinical quality measures. Her team develops internal clinical quality metrics, such as readmission, mortality and complications, that are used by NYULH to measure performance and drive improvement in meeting NYU Langone Health quality of care goals. In the past Marilyn has worked with the New York City Department of Health as director of the West Nile surveillance program, epidemiologist, and data analyst. Prior to that she worked for Peace Corps as an administrator, following two years as a Peace Corps volunteer.
