Liz Howarth has over 25 years of health and social care experience across the UK and internationally. She has worked in executive director roles, programme director roles and at national level for NHSE and the LGA as an advisor. She has worked in both the public and private sectors and runs her own consultancy practice.
Her areas of expertise include service redesign, performance improvement and organizational change. Liz is a qualified life coach and works with organizations and individuals to support them through change processes.
Liz is currently leading the NHS Sheffield Test Bed Programme in the UK - the aim of which is to conduct real world impact evaluation of new technologies to improve care and reduce costs in the NHS. The programme is currently evaluating CareTRx - a unique product and software service designed to meet the current unmet needs in the treatment of asthma and COPD. The CareTRx disease management platform consists of a sensor, smartphone mobile application for patients and caregivers, data analytics dashboard and a data hosting cloud.
