The mother of two sons, Lisa Danielpour is a passionate patient, family and healthcare technology advocate and speaker. In her presentations, Lisa shares how healthcare technology and experiences at four hospitals made a difference in her teen son’s difficult medical journey with Crohn’s Disease. Lisa discusses the role technology can play in helping patients and families, while engaging and representing the perspectives of medical professionals, administrators, and HIT staff. She is a member of the new National Healthcare IT Patient and Family Council sponsored by OpenNotes and PFCCpartners. Lisa is Vice President of UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital Patient and Family Partnership Council (PFPC) in Cleveland, Ohio. She is also a member of the University Hospitals Patient Facing Technology Governance Committee and was just named to the Rainbow Hospital Quality Council. For the previous 20 years, she was Marketing Director for the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), a Washington, DC-based membership association for local government officials.
