Lidia Fonseca serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Quest Diagnostics (DGX). An innovative healthcare technology executive, Lidia’s highest priorities are patient health and customer experience. She is instrumental in developing leading edge healthcare IT products and solutions (under the Quanum brand), including connectivity products as well as analytics, portals and workflow solutions that allow consumers and providers to address gaps in care, improve quality, and optimize utilization. These solutions also support the industry’s evolution from volume to value based healthcare. In addition, Lidia is the Executive Sponsor of Quest’s Business Transformation Program to drive digital enablement and standardization of our operations to better serve our customers.
Previously, Lidia was the Chief Information Officer at Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp) from May 2008 to March 2013. She also served as EVP Global Operations and Technology at Synarc, Inc. from 2005 to early 2008. Prior to Synarc, Lidia served in various roles at Philips Health Care from 1997 to 2005 including, the Global CIO of Philips Health Care and VP Supply Chain Management in the Nuclear Medicine Division.
Ms. Fonseca is a member of the Board of Directors of Tegna, Inc. (NYSE: TGNA) and has previously served on the Board of Directors of Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE: GCI). In addition, she is a member of the Board of Directors of Q2 Solutions, a Quintiles and Quest Diagnostics joint venture. Previously, Lidia served on the Advisory Board of Medivo, Inc. from 2013 to early 2014. Lidia earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA and an MBI (Master Business Informatics) from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus Graduate School of Business.
