Lee Kim is the Director of Privacy and Security at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) North America. Kim’s roles include subject matter expert, public policy professional, and analyst. Kim is a member of the US Department of Homeland Security Analytic Exchange Program and a team leader of the Vulnerabilities of Healthcare Information Technology Systems team. Kim is an AV Preeminent rated attorney in healthcare and intellectual property law.
Kim’s professional work experience includes system, network, database, and web administration and legal experience in the fields of intellectual property, information technology, privacy, cybersecurity, and healthcare law.
Kim authors domestic and international works on topics which include information privacy, cybersecurity, law, and public policy. Kim's publication credits include GCN, ABA, Digital Health Legal, GCN, Nursing Management, and the California Continuing Education of the Bar. Kim has served as a member of the (ISC)² U.S. Government Advisory Council Executive Writers Bureau and lead author of several peer-reviewed articles.
