Dr. Laura McCrary is the Executive Director of the Kansas Health Information Network, Inc. (KHIN). KHIN is a provider-led Kansas non-profit organization that provides health information exchange technology and related services to over 1400 healthcare organizations throughout Kansas. KHIN is generally considered to be one of the largest and most successful health information exchanges in the nation.
Laura completed Post-Doctoral work at Kansas University; a Doctorate of Education from Kansas State University and MS degrees in the areas of Mental Illness and Learning Disabilities from Kansas State University. Laura is an adjunct professor at Rockhurst University-Helzberg School of Management and teaches courses in Health Information Technology and Quality and is a member of the National Policy Steering Committee for eHealth Initiative. Laura previously co-chaired the Advisory Board for eHealth Exchange/Carequality and served on the Governance Group for the National Syndromic Surveillance System.
