Kris Wilson is the Chief Information Officer and the Director of CIP Projects for the Hawaii Health Systems (HHSC) East Hawaii region on the Big Island of Hawaii. The HHSC East Hawaii region encompasses a flagship 157-bed acute medical facility, two critical access hospitals, and eight ambulatory clinics. In addition to managing Information Technology, Kris is currently responsible for the overall management the capital improvement projects for East Hawaii.
Kris has a technical degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in Radiological Science and is registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (RT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), & Computed Tomography (CT). Kris also has a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management and a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, she is currently perusing a PhD in Health Sciences from Walden University and expects to graduate in late 2017.
