As the Informatics Portfolio Manager for UCLA Health, Kevin Baldwin is an internal consultant responsible for preparing and engaging multiple levels of business owners in adoption and acceptance activities associated with technological advances and improving the delivery of patient care. He has led the development of comprehensive EHR readiness programs to identify risks and project resource needs and analyzed future state integrated work flows, procedures and constraints of the clinical / business operations. His previous roles include clinical research and ambulatory administration. In addition to over 10 years of professional healthcare experience, Kevin holds a BS in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles, a post-baccalaureate certificate in Biomedical Informatics from Columbia University in the City of New York, and an Executive-Style Master of Public Health from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. A strategic health services leader, Kevin has broad experience in people development, process improvement, strategic planning, service and quality, and operational management.
