Kendall Cortelyou-Ward, PhD is an Associate Professor and Program Director of the Healthcare Informatics Master’s program at the University of Central Florida. She teaches health informatics and information systems courses to graduate students and conducts research in these areas.  Dr. Cortelyou-Ward has over 15 years of professional and academic experience in healthcare management and informatics including serving as the Workforce Director for the UCF Regional Extension Center and as a Senior Research Analyst for the HIMSS Value Suite project.  Her current research interests include patient engagement, privacy and security, mixed methods research, and the value of health information technology.
