I have had the opportunity to hold a variety of roles during my 30-year professional career. I have experience in oncology, critical care, clinical leadership and outcomes management, ultimately leading to a progressively responsible career in clinical informatics. I have had the opportunity to serve in a variety of informatics roles, ranging from unit level clinical quality initiatives to multi-regional clinical informatics leadership. In my current role, as the Senior Director of Digital Care Transformation, I am responsible for all patient facing digital assets which include digital engagement (portals and communities of care); online care delivery [video visits (acute and ambulatory telehealth) and care automation platforms]; and digital health interventions (apps, interactive education tools, remote monitoring assets).
I serve as the single point of accountability for all clinically relevant products and services developed and delivered by the Office of Digital. This includes leading strategy, product development, and business partnership in support of clinical digital applications such as asynchronous care, e-visits, chronic care management, and patient hospitality. In this capacity I act as a catalyst for change and a force for moving the vision and objectives of the Office of Digital forward in the area of care transformation; modeling and driving digital product collaboration between the Office of Digital, facilities, clinics, other Dignity Health entities and external partners; ensuring the Digital Care Transformation product roadmap is person-focused, on-budget, on-schedule, and ensuring effective delivery of powerful digital solutions for consumers and patients.
