Kate Mundell is the Director of Clinically Integrated Network for MultiCare Connected Care (MCC) in Washington State, an Accountable Care Organization owned by MultiCare Health System, a not-for-profit integrated delivery system composed of five hospitals with 1,130 beds and 130 clinics, offering primary, specialty and urgent care. Since joining MCC in 2014 Kate has led the ACO’s clinical integration work, most notably the Clinical Collaboratives program and the development of the MCC Core Measure set. Kate also manages the network’s provider contracts and supervises the Operations Consultants’ team – responsible for physician engagement by keeping the lines of communication open for providers, practice administrators and leadership – expanding MCC’s partnerships. In her 10+ years working in the healthcare industry, Kate has built expertise in health care strategy, accountable care, population health, operations and innovation pilot design and application.
Kate completed her undergraduate at Eastern Washington University and obtained her MBA in Healthcare Management from Oregon Health Sciences University. In her spare time Kate enjoys travelling, supporting her favorite Seattle sports teams, and spending all the time she can with her husband and daughter.
