Program Manager
Melbourne Genomics Health Alliance
Currently, I lead the Data & Technology program which is delivering a common, shared system to enable the delivery of clinical genomics by stakeholders across Victoria. The program includes several projects over four years, and my role is to ensure their successful management and delivery. The program includes the development of digital systems to facilitate the use of genomics by clinicians and patients.   In May-July 2018, I filled the role of Acting Executive Director of the Melbourne Genomics Health Alliance while our Executive Director is on sabbatical. In this role I worked directly with our stakeholders, executive management committee and Melbourne Genomics Board to ensure that we were delivering against our strategic objectives as outlined in our business plan.   From 2014-2016, I was a senior consultant in Deloitte’s Technology Advisory Practise where I was a key member of the heath team, which predominantly serviced government and government funded organisations. I was the subject matter expert for health data and I completed information governance, data management and ICT strategy development engagements for public hospitals, as well as strategy and operations engagements.   From 2012-2014 I was the Data Operations Manager for the Melbourne Brain Centre at Royal Melbourne Hospital. I led one of the three enabling platforms around which the MBC@RMH is structured, and I represented this platform at the executive level.   Previous to this, I have worked in various clinical and research data management and research roles across my career, spanning the cell to society spectrum of research.
