John Hariadi, MD, FAAFP is currently the Associate Director for Knowledge Management, Data Analytics and Technology Assistance at the Office of Translational Sciences, Center for Drugs Evaluation and Research (CDER), of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in Silver Spring, MD. He supervises an interdisciplinary staff of physicians, pharmacists, data analysts, computer scientists and information technology (IT) specialists to identify key IT infrastructure, enable data/knowledge management approaches, respond to data/IT Service inquiries from internal/external stakeholders and coordinating with other offices within FDA to effectively mine data for key information regarding regulatory decisions and trends.

 

Dr. Hariadi is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and holds faculty appointments at Georgetown University, the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and the U.S. Naval Academy. He recently retired after 26 years of military service and is a three-time recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal.
