Jocelyn Thomas has been in Infection Prevention since 2012. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Howard Payne University and a Masters of Public Health degree from The University of Texas School of Public Health. Jocelyn manages a team of 10 Infection Preventionists: 3 Facility-based IPs and 7 Surveillance IPs who are responsible for all hospital-associated infection (HAI) surveillance for the 14 MH hospitals. Prior to becoming an Infection Preventionist, Jocelyn previously worked in clinical and pre-clinical microbiology. She is a native Houstonian who loves the Houston Rockets. She enjoys singing and traveling.
