Jessica Fisher is a Manager of Program Faculty in the College of Health Professions. She started her career in the mental health field focusing on assisting providers and doctoral students in the areas of clinical psychology as well as psychological and neuropsychological assessment. Jessica spent many years supporting interdisciplinary physicians ranging from internal medicine and mental health to naturopathy. Jessica’s experience includes leadership and management roles overseeing many levels within an organization including clinical, financial, quality, and information systems. Jessica has successfully completed three degrees with WGU which include a Bachelor’s in Health Informatics, an MBA in Healthcare Management, and a Master’s of Science in Management & Leadership. She currently maintains several CompTIA certifications, a medical coding certification, and an AHIMA RHIA certification. Jessica has also earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. Jessica brought her knowledge of healthcare and business together with her love for education and learning to join WGU. She currently works to serve a team of mentors who support students as they work through their Master of Health Leadership degree in an online competency-based setting.
