Jenevra Foley is the operations director for the comprehensive stroke center and stroke rehabilitation at the Michigan Medicine (University of Michigan) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Michigan Medicine has been recognized as a pillar institution for their electronic medical record build which strongly supports stroke center certification requirements and external regulatory reporting.
Ms. Foley is a registered health information administrator with over 15 years of experience in project management, quality management, and process improvement. She has been working with core measures, quality reporting, and multiple disease specific certifications since 2009.
Ms. Foley’s education focus is in health information management and strategic leadership from the University of Central Florida and Stephens College of Columbia, Missouri. Ms. Foley’s expertise is in developing teams that support sustainable processes for minimal manual data abstraction and continuous process improvement for the continuity of stroke patient care from pre-arrival to post discharge.
Ms. Foley has developed and co-chairs a regional stroke center collaborative for Michigan and Ohio hospitals, a monthly national stroke center collaborative conference call, and a CSC/Epic collaborative. She also serves on the American Heart Association Nursing and Rehab Professionals Committee and is a founding board member of the National Stroke Coordinators Network.
