James joined Rochester Regional Health (RRH) in June 2016 to lead efforts focused on furthering their integration strategy. One of those programs, Clinical Optimization, launched in September 2016. The program is focused on reducing care the variations across the health system through clinical integration and establishing standards of care. In January 2017, James role expanded to include the administrative leadership of the Lipson Cancer Institute, which brings high quality cancer care to communities throughout the Rochester / Western NY region. Prior to RRH, James led the Project Management Office (PMO) at Presence Health, the largest catholic healthcare system in the state of Illinois. During his tenure, the PMO focused on post-merger integration strategy and operations project, including a project focused on population health readiness. Prior to Presence Health, James spent nearly 8 years with Deloitte Consulting’s Provider Performance Improvement practice. At Deloitte, James worked on a wide-range of projects with healthcare clients throughout the country. James started his career at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. James holds a Bachelor’s in Biology and Master’s in Health Services Administration from Xavier University.
