Professor Bennett is the founder and Executive Director of the Healthcare Center of Excellence (HCOE), a privately-funded research, training and consulting organization established to help healthcare organizations transition to be more analytics-focused. He started the HCOE after hearing the challenges healthcare executives were having implementing predictive analytics programs. Many were concerned with ‘reinventing the wheel’ when it comes to analytics since successes experienced by other healthcare organizations was not being shared and they were challenged with identifying and keeping analytical talent.
Bryan is also a predictive analytics subject matter expert, course writer, and adjunct professor for Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies where he is responsible for the development and teaching of online and classroom predictive analytics courses for international and domestic markets. Additionally, he teaches leadership, marketing, marketing analytics, business analytics and consumer behavior courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels for other universities.
He is the author of the books, Prescribing Leadership in Healthcare: Curing the Challenges Facing Today’s Healthcare Leaders and Competing on Healthcare Analytics: The Foundational Approach to Population Health Analytics both available on Amazon in the print and Kindle versions. He has also contributed the “Data Stewardship” chapter for the book ADAPTIVE Health Management Information Systems.
Professor Bennett is a highly requested international speaker on the strategic implementation and use of analytics in healthcare, population health management and leadership.
Bryan has a Master’s of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree from Butler University. He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Data Scientist, Certified Public Accountant and Certified Adjunct Faculty Educator.
