MHA Candidate, Sloan Program in Health Administration
Freddy Terrazas Escamilla is the first of his family to pursue both a bachelor’s degree and a higher education degree. He received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Freddy worked as a Strength and Conditioning Intern for the Milwaukee Bucks during the 2012 season. Upon his completion, he accepted a role at Vita Physical Therapy and Fitness (Small Physical Therapy and Personal Training Firm) in Milwaukee as the Director of Promotions and Patient Care Coordinator. After a year-and-a-half, Freddy transitioned back to his hometown of Chicago, Illinois where he accepted a position as the Community Outreach Manager for Home Life Healthcare (Home Healthcare Agency). Freddy then moved into a role as a National Clinical Recruiter and Consultant with Planet Pharma (Pharmaceutical Staffing and Consulting Firm) in Northbrook, IL. He then transitioned into the International Affairs and Health space as he accepted a role with the United States Peace Corps as a Public Health Development Consultant in Nicaragua. Freddy was in that role for two years before he returned to the United States to pursue his M.H.A. at Cornell University. He is currently a first-year candidate in the Sloan Program in Health Administration.
