Elizabeth Leskovar has over ten years of experience in a five-hospital community based academic medical center as a clinical nurse specialist and serves as a nurse planner for the health system’s nursing continuing educational offerings. She received her MSN from Michigan State University with emphasis in Nursing education and Adult-Gerontology. She is responsible for providing clinical expertise in quality improvement evidence-based initiatives throughout the hospital. Areas of expertise that she leads include CAUTI prevention and optimization of nursing documentation. Elizabeth sits on the Practice and Quality council and is a member of the Michigan Nurses Association, National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists and Sigma Theta Tau.
