Dirk Rittenhouse is currently the Director of Clinical Data Acquisition and Analytics for Anthem, Inc. He has over 25 years of experience as an Information Technology Executive and Executive Management Consultant leading the deployment of Health Information Technology solutions that change the way healthcare organizations deliver services to their patients, providers and members. Prior to Anthem, as an Independent Management Consultant, Dirk worked with hospitals, physician groups, health information exchanges and the NY State Department of Health to develop strategy and lead the execution of large scale business and technology programs. His work with two Health Information Exchanges successfully connected over 180 physician practices and nineteen hospitals using eight different vendor EMRs. During his career, he has held Senior Information Technology Leadership positions at Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and The HealthCare Partners Medical Group. With Kaiser, he served as Executive Director of Information Technology and Regional Information Officer for the North East Division. He was responsible for all application development and deployment to standardized six regions on a national health insurance platform that included eligibility, benefits, claims processing, call center and data analytics. As Vice President of Information Technology for HealthCare Partners he led the consolidation and standardization of all applications and systems during a period of rapid growth fueled by acquisition and merger of at-risk medical groups. Dirk has a MBA from Pepperdine University and a BA from Williams College.
