For the past seven years, Dan Paoletti has been the chief executive officer for the Ohio Health Information Partnership (The Partnership), a nonprofit entity that aims to assist physicians and other providers throughout Ohio with health information technology (IT) adoption and implementation. The Partnership manages a comprehensive statewide health information exchange (HIE), CliniSync, that connects more than 157 different hospitals and 900 physician practices. Mr. Paoletti spearheads the HIE’s work in expanding information sharing across the care continuum. His collaborative spirit often brings diverse and sometimes competitive entities together to work on what is best for the state’s healthcare system.
Prior to leading The Partnership, Mr. Paoletti was vice president of the Ohio Hospital Association (OHA) and chief operating officer for OHA Solutions — an interactive online resource for OHA members. He oversaw a database of 183 hospitals and was responsible for the development of new products, services and business plans to ensure clients received the highest return on their membership investments. He also served as one of the founding board members for The Partnership, helping shape the organization’s vision, mission and policies.
Mr. Paoletti’s leadership and vision have been recognized at both state and national levels. In 2013, he was inducted as a member of the HealthTech Council, an elite group of health IT leaders from across various sectors who believe in the importance of executive level collaboration and innovation to advance healthcare. He is also a HIMSS HIE committee member.
