Chris Skowronek, MHA, Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, North Carolina Hospital Association and Executive Director, Center for Affordable Health Care
Chris develops and supports strategies to help hospitals improve operations, and reduce waste with the goal of making healthcare more affordable for patients, businesses, payors and hospitals. Chris works by convening forward-looking leaders and key stakeholders from health systems across the country and enabling them to share promising practices, strengths and successes in key areas and successful programs. In addition to this work, Chris also overseas Strategic Partners, NCHA’s membership services division.
Prior to joining NCHA in 2010, Chris consulted on health system supply chain efficiency and strategic planning with the Greater New York Hospital Association.
Chris received his Master’s in Healthcare Administration from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University.
