Barb Veder has spent over 24 years as senior clinical leader with Morneau Shepell. As Vice President of Global Clinical Services, Clinical and Research Lead, Barb oversees the company’s national and global network of clinical professionals and is accountable to ensuring the clinical quality and operations of the EAP services. Having headed up the team that developed North America’s first EAP Smartphone application (My EAP), Barb is extensively involved in Morneau Shepell’s digital clinical innovation. She is committed to the development of global clinical best practices, resources and innovative support for individuals struggling with depression, anxiety and other mental health issues. Barb holds a Master of Social Work from Wilfred Laurier University. She is widely recognized for her clinical expertise, published research and counsellor education initiatives; presents on digital behavioural health innovation at conferences around the globe; and has been involved in developing university programming at several North American universities. Barb is currently an active board member with EARF (Employee Assistance Research Foundation) and EAPA (Employee Assistance Professionals Association).
