Anthony Baffoe-Bonnie, MD, has been focused on infection prevention and infectious diseases in multiple capacities for the past 16 years. Through his focus on infectious diseases and his experience with multiple technologies used by clinicians in their interactions with patients, Dr. Baffoe-Bonnie has developed processes for measuring clinician behavior to standardize practice. With a medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School, residency in internal medicine at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore and a fellowship in infectious disease at Carilion Health System, Dr Baffoe-Bonnie has experience with multiple patient populations. He takes a very academic approach to his infection prevention work and understands the value in measuring the work being performed to improve patient outcomes.
Dr. Baffoe-Bonnie combines his approach and experience to develop change management programs based on research and evidence. He relies on his background in clinician workflow development to drive his process improvement efforts at Carilion Clinic not only in infectious disease, but throughout the health system.
