Anne Burroughs has been in the healthcare IT industry for 20 years and serves as Vice President of Marketing at True Process, a privately held healthcare IT engineering firm that helps medical technology companies with clinical data solutions and strategies. She is accountable for all aspects of marketing, including communications, brand management, strategy, and vision. Anne started her career as a Test Engineer with Electronic Data Systems (EDS), later moving into a Business Analyst role. In 2000, Anne joined IBM as Senior Business Analyst and, for over 12 years, worked with the major automobile companies to enhance their membership and claims systems at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Working alongside software developers and system users, Anne acted as a liaison to improve workflows through the use of data and provided project management services. Anne joined True Process in 2012. As Product Manager, Anne guided the development, deployment, and marketing of VeriScan, a barcode medical administration system, and ViNES, a medical device integration system. Being a strong proponent of interoperability, Anne has led teams and products through Meaningful Use Stage 2 certification, IHE-profile integration, Connectathon testing, and has represented True Process at the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase. Anne is a member of the Wisconsin Dairyland chapter of HIMSS. Anne has a BA in Political Science from Ripon College and an MLIS in Information and Library Science from UW-Milwaukee. Anne is passionate about community libraries and has been appointed to the Whitefish Bay Library Board for the past five years where she has served on both the personnel and finance committees.
