Andrew von Eschenbach is currently the regional vice president revenue cycle and CIO at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System. Drew has worked in the healthcare industry close to 25 years; he has spent much of his career focusing on the challenges in the revenue cycle from the perspective of the provider as well as a consultant.
He has had the privilege of working at some very prestigious organizations including MD Anderson Cancer Center and Arthur Andersen prior to joining CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System. He has served as a member of the Texas Hospital Associations Committee on Hospital Billing and Charges, is former Chairman of Healthcare Coalition of Texas Revenue Cycle Council Executive Committee, Past President for the East Texas Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is current Chairman of the Revenue Cycle Leadership Council for the Texas Purchasing Coalition.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Business Administration and is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of HFMA. CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System is a proud recipient of two national awards in 2015 for revenue cycle performance, having received the HFMA MAP Award for High Performance in Revenue Cycle as well as the Healthcare Business Insights Award for Revenue Cycle Performance.
