Anand Chaudhari is a first year MHA Candidate at Cornell University’s Sloan Program in Health Administration. He graduated from the University of Texas in 2017 with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Certificates in Health Informatics and Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, and Business Administration with a vision of improving healthcare operations by leveraging data analytics and emerging technology to provide more efficient and effective care to patients. Immediately prior to joining the Sloan Program, he worked for a Health IT company with a 340B Industry SaaS product as a program manager with large retail pharmacy and retail specialty pharmacy chains. In this role, he was able to further develop his problem solving and analytical skills which translated to $450,000 in cost savings per year, 20% additional revenue per month, and a 95% reduction of new program analysis to reduce time to monetization. After spending the past 12 years in Texas, he is looking forward to the challenge of surviving the northeastern winters. In his free time, Anand enjoys listening to music, watching football, practicing his golf swing, and cooking new recipes.
