Adam has devoted his more than 10-year career to healthcare and is currently the Manager of Innovation at Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH), a forward-thinking community hospital in Ontario. Adam is a pioneer at MSH, and was instrumental in building and growing an Office of Innovation for the hospital where there was none before. Adam has been active in entrepreneurial spheres, connecting the hospital with new and exciting innovations. He has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by change-makers, and champions innovation wherever possible. Prior to coming to Markham Stouffville Hospital, Adam was quality improvement planner at the Central East Local Health Integration Network and did process improvement work at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Adam Erwood has a Master of Management in Innovation from the University of Toronto. He also has skills and expertise in quality improvement, process improvement and digital communications – a powerful combination for an innovator.
