Digital health is transforming rapidly, bringing new technology and devices to improve patient centered care delivery. While there are numerous patient and provider facing applications focused on women’s health and wellness, there is still a gap in understanding how these technologies improve care and empower the patient to make informed decisions. Current research in incorporating women’s health needs into technology has been limited. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Veterans Health Administration’s Office of Women’s Health Services are leading a roundtable discussion on technology innovation in women’s health, with the goal of collectively advancing a patient centered focus in this space.
