What Nukes Can Teach You About Med Device Security

2:45pm - 3:05pm Wednesday, March 11
Orlando - Orange County Convention Center
Hall A - Booth 400 - Cybersecurity Theater B

Description

The potential human cost of an incident has spurred the development of extremely strict security and cybersecurity at nuclear power facilities. While an individual medical device may not hold the same level of risk, think about it at scale – there may be thousands of potentially vulnerable devices out there which could each affect human life. This session will cover the various cybersecurity lessons of the nuclear industry and what the medical device community can learn from them.
