Hospitals and clinicians participating in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) quality and value-based purchasing programs shared their experiences with the complexity and burden of electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) implementation, data capture, and reporting. This session provides an overview of the progress to date in implementing eCQM Strategy Project recommendations to increase value and reduce the burden associated with electronic use of data. A demonstration of the new Collaborative Measure Development Workspace will highlight efforts to increase transparency and engagement to support implementation, data mapping, and measure development.
