Description

There is a disparity between the amount of information collected by the electronic health record (EHR) technology and the number of physicians and patients who manipulate the data. It is uncommon for hospitals or providers of clinical settings to utilize the same EHR system which poses an interoperability conundrum. The information contained in physician notes, progress notes, and radiology reports provides a comprehensive view of the treatment of a particular patient.
