Having to discern and address patient preferences before, during, or after a consult often adds complexity, but understanding motivations and addressing choices can add clinical, operational, and financial value to care delivery. This session will highlight case studies and explore design considerations of tools, concepts, approaches, and leading innovations empowering clinicians to deliver positive patient and family experiences that are necessary in the new healthcare economy.
